About The Family Place

At The Family Place, we are a close-knit team that goes above and beyond to create a family feel in our preschool. Our facilities provide state-of-the-art security throughout, giving our parents complete peace of mind as to the safety of their precious children.

Our team is highly qualified in all aspects of childcare including qualification level. We continually invest in our team and provide opportunities to further their knowledge and development which maintains their motivation, commitment, and enjoyment. This could be through long-term qualification routes or short courses or in-house training.

A Child-First Approach

At The Family Place we see young children as capable, competent, and full of wonder. We give them the respect they deserve by creating an environment which encourages questioning and by helping them to discover their own answers. We recognize that each child is an individual, with strengths, interests, and opportunities for growth.

Our teachers take the time to get to know each child, enabling us to individualize the learning opportunities we provide. We support their natural curiosity, helping them become lifelong learners and out of the box thinkers.

Thinking Differently

Our center might be a little different to what you’re used to. Our specially designed center is an open, free-flow space, offering our team and children a flexible approach to learning. We recognize that children’s ability and desire to learn cannot be contained to a classroom; children are grouped based on their development level rather than their age to allow them to progress at their own pace and they have the freedom to move around the center rather than be confined to one room. At The Family Place, we always encourage children to lead their own learning and to have fun doing so!

Our Team is Our Greatest Asset

We recognize that our team is our greatest asset at The Family Place. That’s why we trust every member of our team to support, teach, and love our children in their own way, recognizing that the bond teachers create with children provides them with a unique insight into what each child needs.

It is also why it is so important to us that our team is involved in every decision we make. We have regular team meetings and group pow-wows to discuss what’s happening at the center, seeking regular and honest feedback in order to create an environment where teachers know they are valued and have the ability to influence change.

We offer ongoing training and support, ensuring there are opportunities for internal promotion and career progression. The Family Place knows that our team makes us what we are, which is why we want to support you throughout your time with us and ensure you feel fulfilled by and proud of the work you do.
